St. Vincent was born in Dallas, Texas in 1982. She became one of the unexpected success stories of indie rock with her album in 2009, becoming known for her emotionally intricate songs, rich crafted melodies, and her clothing styles who kept people wondering what she would pull out next! St. Vincent got into music, jazz specifically, from her high school jazz band and theater program and then managed her uncle’s band throughout their road shows while she got introduced into the music business. Although she is a solo act, she has collaborated with several artists from Talking Heads to the Polyphonic Spree!

His powerful voice with wide vocal ranges has given him a successful singing career, spanning over 50 years. Plant is known as one of the greatest singers in the history of rock and roll, being named in several magazines such as Hit Parader, Rolling Stone and Q Magazine.

Christina Aguilera was born in Staten Island, NY in December of 1980 with a goal of becoming a singer. Aguilera gained her first taste of fame when she was 12, starring on The All New Mickey Mouse Club! From there, she had her breakthrough hit “Genie in a Bottle” come out in 1999 breaking charts. As a bilingual singer known for her powerful voice and ability to sing acapella, Aguilera has made millions of fans, sold millions of records and won many awards including a Grammy for best new female artist!

Mick Jagger was born July 1943 in Dartford, Kent, England, UK. Jagger was part of The Rolling Stones, formed between 1960 and 1962. The original Rolling Stone band consisted of Mick Jagger on lead vocals and harmonica, Keith Richards on guitar, Bill Wyman on bass, Charlie Watts on drums and Brian Jones on guitar. Jagger and Richards actually had met when they were 4 years old in school but reconnected accidentally in a train station where they both discovered they loved Rock n Roll mixed with blues. By 1965 The Rolling Stones had their first #1 hit in the UK. Finally, by 1989 Mick Jagger was elected into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Rolling Stones.

steven tyler

Steven Tyler was born March 1948 in Yonkers, NY. Tyler was the son of a music teacher and started playing drums at a young age, but quickly changed his focus to vocals. Tyler has been known for his sharp edged raw vocals and raunchy lyrics in the band Aerosmith, where he is the lead singer. He has been trademarked by his long hair and colorful clothing, being considered one of rock's greatest showmen and being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in March of 2001.

thom yorke

Thom Yorke was born in Wellington, Northamptonshire, England, UK in 1968. He is known for his falsetto range in his band, Radiohead. Through his band he became one of the biggest acts of the 90’s and 2000’s. They earned the name through their challenging and unpredictable music. After Yorke’s time with Radiohead, although he still worked closely with them, he collaborated with a variety of artists, released some low key solo albums and led a Afrobeat-Inspired band, Atoms For Peace.
