·      COST: $300 for 1 week / $500 for both weeks

DESCRIPTION: Week 1 will focus on the fundamentals of songwriting, with students collaborating to write an original song by the end of the week. Week 2 will focus on learning how to record the song, using Logic software with a basic home recording setup. Students will be guided to perform and record vocals and each instrument themselves, and learn basic production and mixing techniques. At the end of the course, each student will be sent an mp3 of their original song! Previous songwriting and/or recording experience is helpful, but not required. We recommend enrolling for both weeks, but students have the option to enroll in either the Songwriting week or the Home Recording week.
