Students get to join a band and attend weekly 90-minute group rehearsals where they are cast into individual groups based on their age, experience level, technical proficiency, and musical interests. Musical content for each show follows a specific theme that is intended to challenge and motivate each musician based on their current proficiency level. In this setting, they prepare for live shows that generally take place at the end of the semester at a local venue where family and friends can come and watch their developing musicians perform live on stage!
