At the end of each weekly camp, a Friday recital will be held in our studio for family & friends to hear what the kids accomplished during the week.
Weeknight Ensemble - 8 weeks 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Commack Road Warriors I - starting July 9 (Tuesday Band)
Commack Road Warriors II - starting July 11 (Thursday Band)
Minimum enrollment needs to be met for Themed Day Camps and Ensembles, and each program will be limited to 10 students for the enrichment of the program.
Days, weeks or times may be subject to change. The above themes and/or genres are just suggestions. We are very flexible. We can also add weeks if demand is there, or should you have friends that want to form your own band. Just ask!

The theme is color. Bands may include Pink Floyd, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Sabbath, The White Stripes, Blondie, The Cranberries, etc.

Let the kids decide! Students will choose their own set list from whatever genres they decide!
The 90's Rock
August 5 - August 9
A cool decade to be rockin' out with bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Guns N Roses, Goo Goo Dolls and Metallica to name a few.
Best of Alternative Rock
August 19 - August 23
Our choices for best alternative rock bands include Linkin Park, Arctic Monkeys, Blink-182 & Paramore. Let's include your choice for the set list.

TRU Commack Road Warriors
In the past we have performed outdoors at local street fairs & festivals during late summer & early fall. These 2 separate ensembles will represent TRU Commack at such gatherings. We hope to form these bands based on similar age & proficiency levels. We are currently scheduled to play the East Northport Festival on Sat Sept 7.

*Guitarists need to know their basic open chords (C, A, G, E, D, Am, Em and Dm,), how to play power chords and keep a steady strumming pattern while switching chords. In addition, pentatonic scales and basic lead guitar techniques (bending, hammer-ons and pull-offs, etc.) are needed for students that wish to solo. Drummers should be able to keep a steady beat and perform basic fills. Bass players should be able to play chord roots, basic arpeggios and keep a steady rhythm.*

LESSON PROGRAM!
Still want to continue your lessons for the summer but have vacation plans for a couple of weeks, then our Summer Flex Program is for you.
6 - 45 minutes lessons $330
This program allows for scheduling flexibility over the months of July and August! Over the 8 weeks within July and August, you can pick which 6 weeks you would like to have a lesson!
