Twenty One Pilots were formed in 2009, through their constant energetic touring, creative and interactive social media, and connecting with fans on a grassroots level people couldn’t get enough of them. They released their first debut album in 2009 and by 2012 signed a contract, leading them to release multiple songs that summer and working with other big name artists such as, Adele, on their next debut album. They were on tour within a year, opting to work with various producers on a song to song basis when creating their third and most popular album, Blurryface. The album’s “Stressed Out” single reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2016, with “Ride” at number 6 that same summer. Continuing, they recorded songs used in movies, such as Suicide Squad, and becoming the fees alternative band to have two concurrent Top Ten singles.
arctic monkeys
The Arctic Monkeys are a UK indie rock band, formed in Sheffield, Yorkshire in 2002 made up of four friends. The band came into fame with the help of the internet promoting the unknown bands demo materials and within a short period of time they built a large fanbase. They were an underground phenomenon with their first single reaching the top of the UK singles chart in 2005. They sold out throughout the UK on their first tour in 2006 and had the fastest-selling debut album in UK chart history and later that year won the Mercury Prize! In 2007 when they released their worldwide album, Favourite Worst Nightmare, it had harder, faster tracks that began to pepper the bands live sets!
tame impala
Tame Impala first emerged out of Australia 2008 with a home recorded EP, a psychedelic rock band whom writes, records, performs, and produces their own music. Although eventually gaining enough interest from labels to sign a worldwide contract with a recording company in 2008 shortly attaining the number 1 spot on the Australian Independent Record Labels Chart. Tame Impala is known for psychedelic rock sound which is achieved by various production methods, such as phasing, delay, reverb and fuzz. By 2010 after a series of EPs, they released their first studio album, which was certified gold in Australia, their second album also reached platinum status in Australia and received Grammy Award nominations for Best Alternative Music Album. With their third album released in 2015, they won ARIA Awards for Best Rock Album and Album of the Year.

Radiohead is an English rock band formed in 1985, signing a record contract in 1991 they released their debut single in 1992. It became a worldwide hit after the release of their worldwide album, Pablo Honey in 1993. Radiohead’s popularity blew up in the UK when their second album came out, being referred to as a landmark record of the 1990s and one of the best albums in popular music. By the time their third album came out their style had changed, incorporating influences from electronic music, classical music, krautrock, and jazz, dividing listeners but was named the best album of the decade by Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and Times. Radiohead sold more than 30 million albums worldwide by 2011, their work continues to be placed highly in both listener polls and lists of the best music of the 1990s and 2000s. Ranked 73rd in Rolling Stone;s list of “The Greatest Artists of All Time”, Rolling Stone readers voted the group the second-best artist of the 2000s, and were nominated into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, in their first year of eligibility.
